Confidence is contagious. People are drawn to those who don’t outsource their worth. Thats it…. Keep writing

This reminded me of my 2.5 year old son - he claps for himself constantly. When did we stop clapping for ourselves?

As per my experience I can suggest - We should not stop ourselves as well as other such persons ie your kid.

This is the work most people skip—learning to witness yourself without needing an audience. That’s real confidence.

Sometimes I'll start writing a poem not sure where it's going and by the end I realize it was a poem to celebrate myself! Great insight xoxo

When you clap for yourself, when you believe yourself even when no one believes in you, somewhere along the line, people join in and clap for you as well.

creating for the sake of creating is something that I have been trying to work on for most of my life, i always seek acknowledgment and sometimes the result is that i create for other people but not for myself... self acknowledgment is a redirection to create for yourself and learn what is within your spirit, in my opinion :) thank you for your kind words <3

The way you shift applause from something we wait for into something we practice feels quietly radical, especially in a world that trains us to look outward for proof.

That image of him clapping for himself stays with me, it captures self-respect without bravado.

How would our sense of progress change if we learned to celebrate the small, unseen wins every day?

Exactly

We get so used to aiming our attention at “later” that we miss what’s already happening right now.

Maybe progress is something we learn to notice in the present.
